Slim Metrix Disclaimer: FDA Statement, Results, Doses and Images
Slim Metrix is a dietary supplement, not FDA approved and not a weight-loss drug. “Thermogenic fat-burning” is the brand's wording, not a proven effect. Research doses are larger than one capsule holds. Some images are stock or illustrative, including a kraft pouch that is not the product. Seals are brand claims. Goslimmetrix earns money on sales.
What does the FDA statement on Slim Metrix mean?
The notice every supplement claim must carry, in plain words.
Slim Metrix is sold as a dietary supplement. Under US law, the FDA does not approve supplements for safety or benefit before they reach stores (U.S. FDA, Dietary Supplements Q&A). The maker is responsible for its label and claims. So Slim Metrix is not FDA approved, and no page on this site says otherwise.
The dagger symbol (†) after a claim points to this statement. It appears on each brand claim we quote. A seal that shows the letters FDA next to the words “registered facility” means the factory is registered with the FDA. That is a paperwork step for facilities, not a product review.
Can Slim Metrix burn fat or cause weight loss?
No result is promised. Slim Metrix is not a weight-loss drug, and it has not been tested as a finished product in a human study. Individual results vary, and diet, sleep and activity matter most.
The sales page title reads “SlimMetrix® — Thermogenic Fat-Burning Capsules”. The phrase “thermogenic fat-burning” is the brand's wording. We repeat it so you can see what is being claimed. We have not found research showing that this formula burns fat.
The brand claims, word for word
- Helps support your body's natural fat-metabolism pathways†
- Helps maintain healthy blood-sugar already within normal range†
- Supports balanced appetite & reduced cravings†
- Promotes steady all-day energy without the crash†
- Metabolic Boost†
We print these claims exactly as the brand does, each with its dagger. They describe support for normal body functions. They are not promises of weight loss. To see what each ingredient has shown in studies, read the fat-burner guide.
How do Slim Metrix doses compare with the doses used in research?
Most studies we cite used more of an ingredient than one capsule can hold. Eight of the ten ingredients share one 276 mg proprietary blend, and the label does not give each one's amount.
Label amounts next to published research. None of these studies tested Slim Metrix.
| Ingredient | In one capsule | Research dose or finding | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Zinc | 5.5 mg (50% DV) | DV 11 mg; adult upper limit 40 mg | NIH ODS, Zinc |
| Chromium | 50 mcg | Weight trials used 200–1,000 mcg a day; about 0.5 kg effect | Onakpoya et al., 2013 |
| Berberine HCl | Part of 276 mg | 0.5–1.5 g a day in glucose trials | Dong et al., 2012 |
| Green tea extract | Part of 276 mg | Weight change small and not significant | Jurgens et al., 2012 (Cochrane) |
| Alpha lipoic acid | Part of 276 mg | About 1.3 kg more than placebo across 10 trials | Kucukgoncu et al., 2017 |
| Resveratrol | Part of 276 mg | About 0.5 kg across 28 trials; poorly absorbed | Mousavi et al., 2019 |
| Cayenne (capsaicin) | Part of 276 mg | Small rise in energy use | Ludy et al., 2012 |
| Korean ginseng | Part of 276 mg | Modest drop in fasting glucose over about 8 weeks | Shishtar et al., 2014 |
| Banaba | Part of 276 mg | 32–48 mg of a 1% corosolic acid extract, 2-week study | Judy et al., 2003 |
| Milk thistle | Part of 276 mg | Not enough good evidence to draw conclusions | NCCIH, Milk thistle |
A study result at a higher dose does not carry over to a smaller one. The proprietary blend guide shows the most each blend ingredient could weigh.
Study groups also differ from you. Many trials enrolled people with type 2 diabetes or obesity, ran for a few weeks or months, and paired the supplement with diet advice. We cite them to show what an ingredient has done, not what one capsule will do.
Which images on the Slim Metrix site are illustrations, not the product?

Some pictures on this site show the real bottle and label. Others are stock photos or brand graphics used to illustrate a point. Here is what each kind shows.
- Kraft pouch. A different kind of packaging with a blank label. It is not how the capsules are sold.
- Smiling woman with a capsule. A stock or promotional model beside a guarantee badge. She is not a customer, and the image shows no result.
- Green tea photo. The file name says “cinnamon”, but the photo shows green tea leaves and green powder. Cinnamon is not in the formula.
- Romanesco broccoli. Shown because chromium occurs in foods like it. The capsule's chromium is chromium picolinate, not broccoli.
- Yellow roots and powder. A picture of the yellow color berberine is known for. It is not a photo of the capsule contents.
- Bottle with fruit, limes, berries or green coffee beans. Styling props. None of these foods is on the label.
What do the seals and the Slim Metrix comparison graphic prove?
They show what the brand says about itself. They are not independent checks that we have confirmed.

The brand's comparison graphic sets five checkmarks for Slim Metrix against “other brands”. It lists clinically studied ingredients, 3rd-party tested, allergen free, GMP-certified facilities, and paleo-friendly and gluten-free.
- No third-party lab report has been published. Lot SLI-26/GO-6640 and CoA reference SLI-6640-26-GO are reference numbers, not lab proof.
- “Clinically studied ingredients” means the single ingredients appear in studies, usually at higher doses. Slim Metrix itself has no published trial.
- The “other brands” are not named, so the comparison cannot be checked.
- The manufacturer's name is not visible on the label images we have.
You can read how we look at lot numbers on the batch verify page.

Slim Metrix disclaimer questions
Is Slim Metrix approved by the FDA?
No. The FDA does not approve dietary supplements before they go on sale, and Slim Metrix is a dietary supplement. A “registered facility” seal refers to the factory's registration with the FDA, not to any review of this product.
Will Slim Metrix make me lose weight?
No result is promised. Slim Metrix is not a weight-loss drug, and no human study has tested this formula. Food, sleep and activity have far more effect on body weight than one capsule a day.
Why does the sales page say “thermogenic fat-burning”?
Those are the brand's marketing words in the sales page title. We quote them so you know what the brand says. Research on these ingredients at the doses in one capsule does not show a fat-burning effect.
Is the woman in the Slim Metrix graphic a customer?
No. She is a model in a promotional image supplied with the brand's materials. She is not a verified buyer, and the photo shows no real result.
Does Slim Metrix contain cinnamon?
No. Cinnamon is not on the label. One stock photo file carries “cinnamon” in its name, but the picture shows green tea leaves and powder, which do match an ingredient in the blend.
Does Slim Metrix come in a kraft pouch?
No. Slim Metrix comes in a bottle of 30 capsules. A photo of a plain kraft pouch appeared among the supplied images. It shows a different kind of packaging and is not the product.
Are the limes, berries and coffee beans in Slim Metrix photos ingredients?
No. They are styling props in the brand's product scenes. The label lists zinc, chromium and an eight-ingredient blend, and none of those foods is among them. Green tea leaves in some photos do match the green tea extract.
Does the 60-day guarantee mean Slim Metrix will work?
No. The 60-day money-back guarantee is a purchase policy. It lets you return the product for a refund within the window. It is not a promise of any health, energy or weight result.
