Is Slim Metrix a capsule, a gummy or a powder?
It is a capsule with a vegetable shell made from hypromellose. It is not a gummy, a powder or liquid drops. The capsules come in a bottle, not a pouch.

Zinc (as zinc gluconate) and chromium (as chromium picolinate), plus a 276 mg blend of alpha lipoic acid, green tea leaf extract, milk thistle, berberine HCl, resveratrol, cayenne, Korean ginseng and banaba. Why does the Slim Metrix ad list six ingredients when the label lists ten?
The sales brief names six ingredients. The label panel lists ten: it adds alpha lipoic acid, cayenne, Korean ginseng and banaba inside the 276 mg proprietary blend. This site follows the label. The four extras matter for safety, since three of them can lower blood sugar.
How much berberine is in Slim Metrix?
The label does not say. Berberine is one of eight ingredients in the 276 mg blend. Trials used 500–1,500 mg a day, so even the whole blend could not reach the low end.
How much green tea extract and EGCG does Slim Metrix contain?
The amount is not published. The extract is standardized to 50% EGCG, so the EGCG is at most about half of whatever green tea is inside the blend. That is far below the 800 mg a day level that raised liver enzymes in EFSA's review.
How much chromium is in Slim Metrix?
Each capsule has 0.05 mg, which is 50 mcg. The label prints 41.67% DV for 0.05 mg (50 mcg) of chromium. That matches an older reference value. Against today's 35 mcg Daily Value, 50 mcg is about 143%. Weight trials used 200–1,000 mcg a day.
How much zinc is in Slim Metrix?
Each capsule has 5.5 mg of zinc as zinc gluconate, which is 50% of the 11 mg Daily Value. The adult upper limit is 40 mg a day from all sources combined.
How do I take Slim Metrix?

Does Slim Metrix burn fat?
No human study shows that this formula burns fat. The sales page title says “Thermogenic Fat-Burning”, but cayenne's effect on energy use was small in research, and green tea's weight effect was small and not significant. We do not say the capsule burns fat.
Will Slim Metrix help me lose weight?
No result is promised. At higher doses than this capsule holds, chromium added about 0.5 kg over placebo and alpha lipoic acid about 1.3 kg. Food, sleep and activity matter far more.
How long does Slim Metrix take to work?
There is no set timeline. Most trials on these ingredients ran 8–12 weeks. If you try it, take it daily and judge it before day 60 so the guarantee still applies.
Does Slim Metrix lower blood sugar?
The brand claims it helps maintain healthy blood sugar already within normal range. Berberine, ginseng and banaba lowered glucose in studies, mostly at larger or known doses. It is not a diabetes treatment and does not replace medicine.
Has Slim Metrix itself been studied?

Most healthy adults tolerate these ingredients at small doses. The main risks are drug interactions, low blood sugar with diabetes medicine and stomach upset. It is not for pregnancy, breastfeeding or anyone under 18.
What are the side effects of Slim Metrix?

Can I take Slim Metrix with my medicine?
Ask your doctor or pharmacist first. Berberine interacts with metformin, cyclosporine and many drugs cleared by liver enzymes. Chromium can reduce levothyroxine absorption, and zinc binds some antibiotics.
Can I take Slim Metrix if I have diabetes?
Only with your doctor's approval. Berberine, chromium, alpha lipoic acid, ginseng and banaba can all lower blood sugar. Added to diabetes medicine, that raises the risk of a low.
Can Slim Metrix harm the liver?
Liver injury is rare but has been linked to concentrated green tea extract. The EGCG here is far below the level of concern, though the exact amount is hidden. Stop and see a doctor if you notice dark urine or yellow skin or eyes.
Does Slim Metrix contain caffeine?
No caffeine amount is listed on the label. Green tea extracts can carry some natural caffeine, but the level here is not published. If you are sensitive, take the capsule in the morning.
