Proprietary Blend contents, as printed
Alpha Lipoic Acid, Green Tea (Camellia sinensis) Leaf 98% Polyphenols 80% Catechins 50% EGCG, Milk Thistle (Silybum marianum) Seed Extract 80% Silymarin, HCL (from Berberis aristata Root 97% Berberine), Resveratrol (from Polygonum cuspidatum Root Extract 200:1), Cayenne (Capsicum annuum) Fruit 40,000 H.U., Ginseng Korean (Panax ginseng) Aerial Extract 8% Ginsenosides, Banaba (Lagerstroemia speciosa) Leaf Extract 2% Corosolic Acid.
One line reads "HCL (from Berberis aristata Root 97% Berberine)". The word berberine appears to be missing before HCL, so we read it as berberine HCl.

How does %DV work on the Slim Metrix label?
A simple ratio: amount in the capsule divided by the reference amount.
%DV stands for percent Daily Value. It shows how much of a set daily reference amount one serving gives. The FDA sets those references for nutrients such as zinc and carbohydrate.
Zinc is the easy example. The Daily Value is 11 mg, and one capsule gives 5.5 mg. Half of 11 is 5.5, so the label prints 50% (FDA, Daily Values).
A Daily Value is not a limit. The separate safe upper limit for adult zinc is 40 mg a day from all sources (NIH ODS, Zinc). One capsule uses less than a seventh of that.
How each Slim Metrix %DV figure is calculated
| Nutrient | Per capsule | Daily Value | Math | Printed %DV |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Zinc | 5.5 mg | 11 mg | 5.5 ÷ 11 = 0.50 | 50% |
| Total carbohydrate | Under 1 g | 275 g | Under 1 ÷ 275 | Under 1% |
| Chromium | 50 mcg | 35 mcg today | 50 ÷ 35 ≈ 1.43 | 41.67% (see below) |
Why does the Slim Metrix chromium line say 41.67% DV?
The amount is clear. The percentage looks outdated.
The printed figure appears to use an older reference value, not today's. Under the current Daily Value of 35 mcg, 50 mcg of chromium works out to about 143% DV.
Working the math backward, 41.67% implies a reference of 120 mcg. That figure seems to come from an older reference system. We have no source to cite for it, so treat it as our arithmetic.
The amount in the capsule does not change either way. It is still 50 mcg. Only the percentage looks dated. Our chromium Daily Value article has the full walk-through.

What do the * and ** marks on the Slim Metrix label mean?
Two small marks that explain the blank spaces.
* One asterisk
Percent Daily Values are based on a 2,000 calorie diet. It sits next to the carbohydrate figure.
** Two asterisks
Daily Value not established. It sits next to the 276 mg blend, since plant extracts have no DV.
No mark at all
Calories have no %DV printed. Zero calories needs no percentage.
The double asterisk does not mean the blend ingredients are unsafe or unstudied. It only means no government reference amount exists for them.
What rules cover the Slim Metrix proprietary blend?
A total weight, a list in weight order, and no single amounts.
Federal label rules let a brand list a proprietary blend by its total weight only. The blend must be named, its total weight shown and its ingredients listed in order of weight, from most to least (21 CFR 101.36).
The brand does not have to print each ingredient's amount. That is legal, but it limits what a buyer can check. We cannot compare most ingredients with research doses.
The order rule still gives a few clues. If this panel follows it, alpha lipoic acid is the largest share and banaba the smallest. Berberine, listed fourth, could be at most 69 mg, because three larger items must come before it.

Does the Slim Metrix label match the brand graphics?
Same numbers, fewer names, a few extra promises.
Where the Slim Metrix label and the brand's marketing graphics agree and differ
| Topic | Supplement Facts panel | Brand graphics |
|---|---|---|
| Ingredients named | Ten (two minerals plus eight in the blend) | Six: chromium, zinc, green tea, berberine, resveratrol, milk thistle |
| Blend size | 276 mg | "276 mg botanical blend" |
| Free-from list | Not printed on the panel | No added sugar, gluten, dairy, soy or artificial dyes |
| Testing | Not mentioned | "3rd-party tested" on the comparison graphic, with no report published |
The numbers agree. The graphics simply show fewer names and add free-from and testing lines that the panel does not print.
Those extra lines are the brand's own statements. We have not seen a lab report behind them. The testing and quality page lists what is and is not published.
Tips for reading the Slim Metrix Supplement Facts label
Five habits that make any supplement label easier to use.
Check the serving size first
Every number is per capsule. One capsule a day means the panel equals your full daily intake.
Add up your zinc
Add 5.5 mg to any multivitamin or lozenge you use. Stay under the 40 mg adult upper limit.
Read the blend as a total
276 mg covers eight ingredients. Do not assume any one of them reaches a study dose.
Show it to your pharmacist
Bring the whole panel, including the blend. Berberine and chromium are the lines most worth asking about.
Note the lot number
Write it down with your start date. It helps if you ever need to call the order desk.
Slim Metrix Supplement Facts questions
What is the serving size of Slim Metrix?
One capsule. The bottle holds 30 servings, so one bottle lasts 30 days at the label dose. Every amount on the panel is for one capsule.
How many calories are in a Slim Metrix capsule?
The panel lists 0 calories and less than 1 g of total carbohydrate. That is less than 1% of the carbohydrate Daily Value on a 2,000 calorie diet.
Is 50% DV of zinc too much?
For most adults, no. One capsule gives 5.5 mg, half of the 11 mg Daily Value. The adult upper limit is 40 mg a day from all sources, so check any multivitamin or zinc lozenges you also take.
Is the chromium DV on the label wrong?
It looks outdated rather than wrong in amount. The label prints 41.67% for 50 mcg, which fits an older reference value. Against today's 35 mcg Daily Value, the same 50 mcg is about 143%.
Why don't the blend ingredients have a %DV?
The double asterisk means no Daily Value has been set for them. Daily Values exist mainly for vitamins, minerals and a few nutrients. Plant extracts such as berberine or green tea have none.
Can I find out how much berberine is in the blend?
Not from the label. The blend shows one total of 276 mg. You can ask the order desk at +1 (562) 523-2626 whether the supplier will share a breakdown, but none is published today.
Where are the lot number and expiry date?
Look on the base or side of the bottle. The reference lot for this page is SLI-26/GO-6640. Lot and CoA numbers help trace a batch but are not a lab result.
